Scott Remer
Bio:
Scott Remer is a development manager for Hexagon Energy. He is responsible for the development and management of wind and solar energy projects, including market analysis, site identification, community and landowner outreach, property leases, and early feasibility studies. Prior to joining Hexagon, Scott worked on the holistic development of infrastructure systems both within the U.S. and internationally. He served as an infrastructure and engineering consultant with the U.S. Navy in several Pacific island nations. He has worked with Parsons Corporation as a consultant to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and has experience with engineering design and construction firms Manhattan Construction and Jacobs Engineering. He has also worked as a lecturer in Engineering Ethics at the University of Virginia.
Scott holds a Ph.D. in systems and information engineering from U.Va., an M.S. in civil and infrastructure engineering, and a B.S. with highest honors in civil and infrastructure engineering from George Mason University.
