Bio:

Peter Traub is a senior infrastructure systems applications engineer at the University of Virginia. Traub is also a composer/installationist/net artist of electronic and acoustic music, and sound installations. His work focuses on the use of technology to mediate physical and virtual spaces. He is currently working on enterprise infrastructure at U.Va., building and upgrading mission-critical systems that impact the entire University. Peter received his B.A. in English from the University of Florida, his M.A. in Composition from Dartmouth College and his Ph.D. in Composition and Computer Technologies from the University of Virginia.
