Bio:

Matt Motyl is a Quantitative Researcher on the Civic Integrity team at Facebook. There, he designs and tests interventions to combat polarization and extremist violence, while promoting positive civic engagement. Prior to joining Facebook, Matt was an assistant professor of psychology and political science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Executive Director of CivilPolitics.org, and research director at OpenMindPlatform.org. He currently lives in Menlo Park, CA.
