Geoff Gordon is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Politics specializing in comparative politics and political methodology. Geoff’s research interests include democratization, the political economy of development, the politics of redistribution, and his regions of interest are Latin America and Southeast Asia. His dissertation research focuses on the causes of democratic backsliding in developing countries. Geoff received his B.A. in political science and economics from the New College of Florida and his M.S. in political economy of late development from the London School of Economics in 2011.
