Bio:

Zhe-Yu Daniel Lin’s research examines the magnificent disks of dust and gas surrounding newly formed stars. He conducts observations with the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile and the Very Large Array (VLA) in New Mexico and develops theoretical models to understand the mesmerizing structures where planets form. Daniel is also a mentor in Computer4Kids (C4K), a grassroots organization which provides a creative environment for youth from economically disadvantaged families to explore their ideas through the use of technology.
