Three Jefferson Scholars help lead student-run bookshop revival on the Corner

Molly Canipe, the William Fownes Blue Family Jefferson Scholar, Max Fleisher, the Edward C. Carrington Jr. Jefferson Scholar, and Margot Ross, the John and Lynn Hooff Family Jefferson Scholar, are among the students behind Gingko Bookshop, the new iteration of a long-standing used bookstore on the Corner in Charlottesville. After the previous owner decided to retire, Molly and Max teamed up to take over the space, pool their resources, and keep the bookstore open.
