December 3, 2018

The Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission has announced the names of 48 individuals selected to receive Marshall Scholarships in 2019. Among the winners is Jack Brake, the C.D.L. and M.T.B. Perkins Jefferson Scholar. This marks the third year in a row that a member of the Jefferson Scholars community has been awarded this highly competitive and prestigious award.

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study at the graduate level at a U.K. institution in any field of study. Since graduating from the University this May, Jack has been pursuing an M.A. in global affairs as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing. As a Marshall Scholar, Jack intends to pursue a Ph.D. in politics and international studies at the University of Cambridge.
