Bio:

Olivia Pavco Giaccia is an M.B.A. candidate at the Darden School of Business. Prior to coming to Darden, Olivia developed, produced and hosted digital science programming for Discovery, Conde Nast, and Facebook Watch, as well as digital media ventures AwesomenessTV and Group Nine Media. Her commitment to achieving gender parity led Olivia to serve on the White House Violence Against Women team, and on the Champions Board for the National Girls Collaborative Project. As an undergraduate, Olivia was Founder and CEO of LabCandy, a social venture with a mission to encourage young women in STEM. Olivia graduated with honors from Yale University where she was awarded a B.S. in Cognitive Science. Her published thesis research, titled “Rationality is Gendered,” investigates the intersection of gender and implicit bias.
