Two Scholars featured as student leaders at UVA

Allison McVey, the Richard S. Cross Jefferson Scholar, and Naima Sawaya, the Dr. Randolph Preston Pillow Jefferson Scholar, are making an impact at UVA through their strong leadership. As chair of the Judiciary Committee, Allison navigates complex conduct cases with empathy and fairness. Naima, the editor in chief of The Cavalier Daily, is helping to broaden the paper’s reach while mentoring young journalists.
