After graduating from U.Va. in 1995 as the William G. Pannill Jefferson Scholar, Susan Blank attended Harvard University Medical School and later returned to Charlottesville, where she worked as an endocrinologist for years. In 2017, Susan left the medical field to launch BEATDiabetes, an innovative startup that takes a new approach to treating patients with Type 2 diabetes.
