Before attending Darden as a Jefferson Fellow, Kyle Blum spent six years working for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, where he served as head of the Uplands program. Kyle was responsible for executive oversight of three million acres of forest and agricultural land. As part of his role, he and his team often faced and managed devastating wildfires.
