National and Jefferson Fellow alumna Emily Charnock examines U.S. politics in a new podcast

January 22, 2018

After receiving a Ph.D. in politics in 2013 as a National Fellow and as the Gregory L. and Nancy H. Curl Jefferson Fellow, Emily Charnock spent a year working on the production team of BackStory with the American History Guys, a weekly podcast hosted by three noted U.S. historians, Ed Ayers, Peter Onuf, and Brian Balogh. Today Emily resides in the U.K., where she is a political historian at Cambridge University and where she recently joined forces with Hilde Restad, an associate professor of international studies at Bjørknes College in Oslo, Norway, to launch her own podcast, Ceasefire.

Emily and Hilde set out to examine American politics from a European perspective. Click here to learn more about Ceasefire. Click here to subscribe.
