Ensuring Future Growth

It is an exciting time for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation.

In 2005, the Foundation launched a $100 million capital campaign, part of the University of Virginia’s broad-based $3 billion campaign that runs through 2011.

For fiscal year 2011, the Jefferson Scholars Foundation set an annual target of $12 million in new commitments as it sought to meet our campaign goal of $100 million. Through the generosity of our friends and benefactors, the Foundation hopes to surpass the fiscal year target.

The campaign will ensure that striving for excellence continues for the next generation of Scholars and Fellows. These Scholars and Fellows will be greater in number, with increased tuition and fees; programmatic needs will escalate, as will overall operational costs as the program spreads to new geographic areas.
