Scholar alumna directs NBC's live production of a classic musical

Lear deBessonet, the James J. Bailey III Jefferson Scholar from the class of 2002, recently brought the joys of musical theater to live television with her direction of Annie, which aired on NBC yesterday evening. Lear is an Obie Award-winning director, the founder of Public Works, and the resident director of The Public Theatre in New York City.
