Professor funded by the Foundation identifies top four challenges of a COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Before joining the Darden faculty last fall, Vivian Riefberg, the David C. Walentas Jefferson Scholars Foundation Professor, spent more than 30 years at the consulting firm McKinsey & Co., where she co-led the health care services practice and gained extensive experience helping clients evaluate and identify new strategies and operational tactics for providing effective health care. Recently, Vivian met with UVA Today to discuss the logistical and operational challenges of distributing the COVID-19 vaccine.
