Edward S. Brinkley (Col, JS '87) never considered his passion for ornithology to be a threat to national security. But in the post-9/11 world, he found himself having to fight to watch birds from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Brinkley held the Harry W. Gilbert Jefferson Scholarship.
