All Nomination Forms and endorsements due to Jefferson Scholars Foundation office via online submission; upon receipt, Jefferson Scholars Foundation office sends all nominees a letter of congratulations and a certificate recognizing their achievement |

Regional selection committee reviews all nomination forms, conducts interviews, and makes recommendations on finalist(s) for competition |

After admission verification , the Jefferson Scholars Foundation office will notify all nominees, sending an appropriate letter to both successful and unsuccessful candidates, with copies to regional selection chairs and guidance counselors; upon receipt of copies, regional chairs also send personal letters to all successful and unsuccessful candidates |
