The Fellows
Jefferson Scholars Graduate Fellows carry exceptional academic records, possess a deep and unquenchable intellect, and seek to share their learnings with a broad audience. They see knowledge as an instrument for positively impacting others, and not merely as an end in itself.

Prospective Jefferson Scholars Graduate Fellows are identified by the departments of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences from the pool of applicants to doctoral and terminal degree programs. Simply put, these are the persons perceived to have the greatest potential as scholars and educators.
