Jefferson Fellows Center

The Jefferson Fellows Center is the home of the Jefferson Fellowship.  Constructed in order to foster a community of leading thinkers, teachers, and citizens who enjoy interdisciplinary conversation and interaction, the Center serves as the locus of the Jefferson Fellows community.  The Center provides Fellows a physical space in which they study, teach, and conduct research.  Few institutions are able to offer graduate students private and inviting accommodations of this caliber for both academic and social purposes.

The Jefferson Fellows Center has also allowed the Foundation to offer comprehensive, focused enrichment programming to the Fellows.  The annual calendar at the Jefferson Fellows Center features the following:

  • Monthly meetings
  • Intellectual enrichment opportunities such as book promotions, faculty speakers, and brown bag luncheons twice per semester
  • Academic events such as documentary screenings or roundtable discussion with visiting professors twice per semester
  • Conferences and exhibits
  • Interaction with guest professors housed at the Jefferson Fellows Center
