Jefferson Fellow Alumni

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation started awarding Jefferson Fellowships at the request of College of Arts & Sciences Dean Melvin Leffler in 2001. In 2003, the Foundation expanded the Fellowship to include law students. In 2006, the first Darden Business School Jefferson Fellows entered UVa.

Despite this short history, alumni of the Jefferson Fellowship program have achieved numerous distinctions and are becoming leaders in scholarship, teaching, and the professions.
