For Alumni

Staying Connected

Regional Selection Committees

The Jefferson Scholars selection process relies on more than 700 volunteers annually, in over 50 regional selection committees around the country (and in London, England).  Each year the Foundation depends on these volunteers to interview nominees for the Jefferson Scholarship at the regional level.  If you are interested in participating in your local Regional Selection Committee or on the Jefferson Scholars Selection Committee, please contact the Foundation.

Regional Alumni Gatherings

The Foundation hosts annual regional events for Jefferson Scholar Alumni in several cities around the country.  Alumni and guests are invited to join members of the Foundation staff to reconnect with fellow Jefferson Scholar Alumni and meet recent graduates who have moved to their cities.

View the sidebar for a list of this year’s specific events, locations and dates. If you are interested in organizing an event in your city, please contact Director of Alumni Relations, Nina Barker.

Alumni Internship Program

Each year the Jefferson Scholars Foundation invites alumni to participate in the Alumni Internship Program.  The program allows alumni to stay connected to the Foundation and to the University, and encourages them to build relationships with our current Scholars.  By completing an annual survey sent out by the Foundation every Fall, alumni can indicate their ability to host an intern, have a Scholar shadow them, or simply offer career and graduate school advice to Scholars.  For more information click here or contact Nina Barker, Director of Alumni Relations.
