Preliminary Program Posted
June 1, 2010
The preliminary program for the 2010 Forum for Interdisciplinary Dialogue has been posted on our Program page. The submissions were truly extraordinary, ranging from the evolution of the periodic table, to the destruction of art and even delving into the behavior and motivations of Yogis.
We are very excited to have such a diverse conference and to welcome such exceptional talent to the University of Virginia Grounds.
We encourage all presenters to contact relevant Academic Departments and Programs at the University of Virginia regarding their visit in order to make their time in Charlottesville as productive as possible.
Registration is now open for presenters and non-presenters via an online form. Interested parties are asked to follow the instructions on the Registration page and play close attention to all deadlines.
Hotel rooms for the dates of the conference have been reserved at a number of nearby hotels at a group rate. We encourage participants to book early as the Fall is a busy time in Charlottesville with the recent start of the Fall Semester and abundant Division 1 sports events. For details see the information posted on the Accommodations page.
The Organizing Committee has put together a page of Acknowledgments to highlight efforts made in support of the FID. In addition, we would like to thank all members of the Program, Reading and Logistics Committee for their hard work.
As always, please direct all inquiries to 2010.fid@gmail.com
