B.S., University of Virginia (2009)
“From my prior experience as an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, I recognized the uniqueness of the opportunities available through the Jefferson Scholars Foundation. From a dedicated staff to the opportunity to meet a diversity of talented individuals, the Jefferson Fellowship enables one to more fully engage in the wealth of activities within the U.Va. and Charlottesville communities. Plus, the value of being able to pursue graduate education free from financial concerns at a world-class university cannot be understated. I feel both honored and humbled to be a part of this community.”
“The first thing people notice when they visit the University of Virginia is the quality of life. Students and faculty thoroughly enjoy their lives both inside and outside the classroom. This satisfaction is manifested in the high giving rate by alumni and, that in many families, sibling after sibling choose to attend U.Va. My family is such an example. Three of my brothers and four cousins are current students or alumni of Mr. Jefferson’s university. I look forward to spending another three years at this beloved institution and can think of no higher distinction than to be a Double ‘Hoo.”
